The women's department, Women Entrepreneurs of the National Federation of Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (FENAP and MED), in conjunction with the 168 associations of small and medium businesses that make it up, nationally, reported that seek one million signatures to demand presidential candidates, who made a pact to commit to fight together against crime, crime, drug addiction, domestic violence and femicide.
They explained that in each province will have a guest book, called "Book of Peace" and invited candidates will compete for the presidency in the next election to participate in the "Pavilion of Peace" space that will enable the International SME Expo, and will have a television 24 hours with live transmission, so that after signing the book, outlining their plans and strategies to eradicate social insecurity in the country.
During the press conference they held in the building of the Provincial Government of Santiago, said that the outcome of this month, which threw the Pollster Cid-Gallup, where the country ranks highest percentage with victims homes crime in Central America and the Caribbean, and the most affected are the micro and small entrepreneurs, for being a hotbed of theft, robbery, blackmail and murder.
Women entrepreneurs added that if all sectors of society come together, away from political interests and it is possible to eradicate the scourge, while they called the religious sectors to join them in the campaign for peace.
Similarly, they invited the public to participate in the International SME Expo to take place simultaneously in Santo Domingo, Santiago and Puerto Plata, from 5 to 9 May.
